As my son approaches his teenage years...I am finding myself in need of a Pre-Teen interpreter. Something has, and is happening to my little boy. Something has , and is taking over him. It's such a funny little age to me. He wants desperately to be a young Man and do things that a young teenager would do...such as roam freely through the neighborhood...stay up until all hours of the night(on the weekends), talk about the "car" he wants us to buy him one day, etc...Then on the other hand, he is still the little boy that is sitting in the floor by me right now building a Star Wars model with Lego, a minute ago he sat in my lap just to get "snuggles", and earlier even asked me to watch High School Musical with him. It's such a strange age to me. It's truly like being caught in the middle of childhood and adolescence. I love it even though I need an interpreter to understand it. He can talk to me in a very grown up and mature way, yet still love on me like the little boy that he has always been. It's all going so fast now that he has gotten older. He is more of a young man than ever. Where has the last 12 years gone?
