It seems as though that my last post has left many of you laughing your pants off at my sister and I. I do mean the lovely photo of us that I had shared taken for the church directory in the early 1970's.
Since posting that picture, I have been called "Gretel", "Swiss Miss", and "Leisel from the Sound of Music". OK...I know you are all thinking the very same thing I was when I ran across that picture...WHAT IN the WORLD was MY MOTHER THINKING when she dressed me AND Allison in those matchy-matchy dutch looking outfits?????? Do you think we have wooden shoes on our feet? Too bad you can see down there. I really would like to have known what kind of shoe you wear with such attire!!!
I have asked her before about the monstrosity of apparel choice that she made and she assures me that she paid QUOTE-- "BIG MONEY" for them at nonetheless at Parisian's! WHAT???? I don't think that it really hit me until I found these pics on just how hideous we really look!!!!!! IF she truly paid...and I quote.."BIG MONEY"...for these cheesy dresses...then by all means we need to take them back and get a refund.... Maybe she could have used the money on straightening my beautiful teeth and getting Allison a professional haircut...Do you think they do returns after 34 years????? Hum...

BTW--You know that Sound of Music is one of my all time favs--you will be my hero if you can sqeeze back into that get-up or even put Nicholas in it and sing Do-Re-Mi and a few others!

The bad hair must be appealing to allison...she married Mark Clyburn who I will remind you had an AFRO as a child...and I have seen PHOTO evidence of this..hahah
