A Colburn Klutz

Have you ever thought or studied about genetics?...Traced your family tree?...Dug deep into your ancestry?....Well, I am seriously thinking that maybe I should start a deep search in the background of my biological make-up. You see, somewhere along the family tree...I'm thinking that somebody has passed on the "Klutz Gene" to me. I'm not joking! I can trip on a flat kitchen floor. I always have been this way too. In school my friends called me "Grace" because I slid about 12 feet in front of the ENTIRE football team on the sidewalk and had my hot pink sundress fly completely OVER my head!!!!(now that one is a hard one to EVER get over). I have broken, bruised, cut, scraped, scarred, sprained, twisted ABOUT every body part that can possibly be broken, bruised, cut, scraped, scarred, sprained, and twisted!

My latest injury is the broken knee cap that I now have. Very innocently I got out of my hubby's truck and did the damage. I would have loved to been able to say that I broke my knee while saving orphans from a burning building...but, unfortunately, I'm just born with the "Klutz Gene" and this sort of thing just happens to me!!!
Three weeks in a knee brace and on crutches SHOULD repair my bone...let's pray it does and that for the next 3 weeks, God has his hand AROUND me to keep me from tripping over these stinkin' crutches and breaking something else!!!!

"Klutz".... I mean Michelle... I do admit that you have always been a klutz, but unfortunatley, you do not have the rights to that title to all to youself.... just look at me and mother. It must be in our genes... (you thinkd)?

Not sure that you can be a "Colburn Klutz"...I think that this great luck can only be linked to the Sides family.
