Duct Tape and Cotton Balls

My son is so funny. I mean it...he has such a funny little personality that he can make people laugh just by being himself. Although he is very shy at school and other social situations...he is VERY much an extrovert at home and around people he is comfortable with. People who know him in his "shy" situations...find it hard to believe that he is any other way. A few weeks ago he had an assignment at school to read a Newberry Award book... of his choice, for his GRC reading class. He has to do a book every 3 weeks and complete an assignment for the book when he is finished. Being that this class is a GRC class...these assignments have been detailed and involved if I have to say so myself. The book he chose was "Old Yeller". Great... a classic I thought! He loved the book until the end...I won't ruin it for you in case you have not read it:) Anyway...it was now time for my crazy son to complete the assignment for the book. He chose to make a video news report about a topic and/or one or more characters. This slightly distressed him due to the fact that the book was set in the late 1800's and he was going to have to do a VIDEO????? Videos and the 1800's just didn't mix well with him!!! Being the creative little turkey that he is...he decided to interview himself as the main character in the book...no longer the 14 year old boy in the book...but instead the grown man that he had become. Are you following me???? Well...I left this up to him. He needed costumes, backdrops and a cameraman( that was me). I have NEVER giggled so much in my life. He was so serious! It was me that had to do about 25 different takes because the camera was shaking so much from me laughing! He is a nut! I have downloaded this for you to enjoy...It is only about 3 minutes...but well worth your time for it's entertainment value if nothing else!!!! Please note...In the beginning...He does say.."Hi, I'm Mary Poppins..."He wanted that to be his stage name!!! and...just remember...duct tape and cotton balls will NEVER look the same to you again!!!!

I promise.... everytime that I watch this video, I see Reg. Nicholas IS "the little Reg". I love it. People NEED to see this side of Nicholas. People on the outside will never believe us when we talk about how funny, creative, and hysterical he is. Nicholas.... I LOVE YOU!
