Our Trip!

Well, I have now downloaded our pictures from our trip last week. They really don't do it any justice when I show them. It was so much more beautiful in person. Here are some of the pictures of the MGM Grand where we stayed in Vegas. The room was SO nice! It was huge also!!! We stayed on the 25Th floor! I have some night pictures that I took out of our window too.








I have to say that the best part of the trip was the helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon! I was VERY nervous at first when I got up that morning. Our limousine came and picked us up at 7:25 on Wednesday morning and took us to the airport. I had no idea what to expect from this. It was so much more than I could have ever imagined though. We boarded the helicopter around 8:15 and off we went to the Grand Canyon. We flew over the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead...then off to the GC! It was spectacular! We flew around the rim of the GC and then landed in the bottom where they gave us our very own picnic lunch! It was amazing! After we ate and had the opportunity to take pictures...we boarded the helicopter and headed back down the Vegas strip and then back to the airport! It was so much fun! I will never forget that experience. Kirk and I were just grinning at each other the entire helicopter ride. I want to do it again for sure one day with Nicholas! He would have LOVED that! I hope that you enjoy the pictures that I have...like I said before...they just don't do the actual thing any true justice!
